La Paz Spring/Summer 2014

In the sixties, a swedish journalist wrote that if Yugoslavia had five designers like Niko Kralj it would be a superpower, and the same could apply to La Paz in Portugal. Inspired by the sea and the typical fishermen's clothing, the founders and designers of the brand, André Bastos and José Miguel Abreu, took the best of portuguese textile tradition and made a collection full of classics with a contemporary twist. The latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection, now available in La Paz website (and in stores like Zady, in the pictures), is a continuation of the excellent work they have developed since the launch. Besides Noronha and Ramos coats, I love Moreira and Salgado sweatshirts, as well as the Cadete and Pacheco shirts, Ferrão and Soeiro t-shirts and Pontes shorts, all timeless classics!
