Since the first time I saw the work of the Danish graphic designer Kristina Krogh, that I'm fascinated by the beauty of her work. Inspired by the things and objects that surround her, be it a beautiful old parquet, a perfect color combination on a building, a stone floor in a church or a bike ride through Copenhagen, Krogh presents a refreshing and original vision, full with references to nature . Combining images of different textures, her prints make an interesting play between natural and artificial, due to context modification of materials like wood or stone. Printed in limited editions, signed and numbered, the posters are available in various formats and motifs, including Sand, Waves, Threefold or Black Stones. In addition to the prints, Krogh also offers a lovely selection of notebooks and cards. Simply beautiful!
"In my work I'm fascinated by different materials and their surfaces which can either be cold, warm, soft, hard, heavy or light. I think the strong mix of these exclusive and cheap textual materials such as marble, ply, wood, cork and paper is an interesting an unexpected combination that I love."
