Cyclopedia might not be new (was published for the first time in 2010), but besides being one of my latest buys, is the ideal read for the year in which the 100th Tour de France is ridden and is foreseen one of the most animated Giro D'Italia ever. Written by reknown cyclism journalist William Fotheringham, the book is an authentic A to Z encyclopedia about this sport. From the most emblematic cyclists to the two wheeled scoundrels, and there are lots of stories about the grand tours too, Cyclopedia is full of trivia, bicycles, components and even designers like Alex Moulton.
