Born in São Paulo, raised in Los Angeles and currently based in the Bay Area, Silvia Song left a ten years career as an architect to devote herself to the production of delicate pieces in wood and the decision could not have been more right. Fulfilling the desire to do something with her hands, Silvia became one of our favorite artists and designers by the uniqueness of her creations. Devoted to discovering forms in function and beauty through simplicity, Silvia Song presents a collection of creations that stands out for its enormous respect for materials and timeless design. Although they are utilitarian objects, the attention to detail, the natural grain of the wood and original finishes such as indigo dyeing, make these cutting boards, bowls or vessels small sculptures for using in everyday life. We love the exclusive collection for March SF, the wooden small vessels and the robust wooden cutting boards made of solid maple. We love it!
