I've discovered the work of Karin Kellner when i saw her illustrations of design icons in the catalogue of our favourite brand De Padova. Drawing since "her childhood, and even if strongly attracted by the human figure, she likes to portray a large variety of subjects, contaminating her figurative language by means of digital techniques, as a final synthesis of her creative process". Working for brands like Giorgetti and Discipline or to publications like Casamica or Rolling Stone, the Milan based german illustrator presents an unique style, in which the soft and subdued tones of watercolour meet with the urbanity of the illustrated themes. Besides the magnificent portraits, we love the maps and itineraries, and the food and objects illustrations. Simply inspiring!
