Weekly Inspiration #28

Less but Better - Being one the most influential designers of the twentieth century, Dieter Rams is known for the iconic pieces for Braun or the functional 606 shelving system for Vitsoe. The new book Less but Better, published by Gestalten, explores the ideas, criteria, and methods behind Rams’s creations and reveals how a shifting culture of product manufacturing gave rise to universal design benchmarks.

Marie Lamp - Designed by Luso-French designer Toni Grilo for Haymann Editions, the lamp Marie reveals Grilo's fascination for exploring different materials. Available in white Carrara marble, solid oak, polished aluminum and black cork, this timeless lamp is one of the beautiful pieces I've seen lately!

COS x Nendo - Celebrating the largest furniture fair in Europe, Salone del Mobile, COS has opened a temporary store in Milan in collaboration with Nendo studio, where you can find a selection of pieces from the swedish brand and the japanese designers. For those not in Milan these days, everything can be purchased in the COS website, including the Corona globe, the book 10/10 and a beautiful tea service designed by studio Nendo.
