Weekly Inspiration #12

J. Crew Discovered - I really love the pieces chosen for Discovered collection by J. Crew. Created under the motto 'found by us, collected by you', Discovered shows some classics by the best international brands. This parka, created by danish brand Norse Projects, stands out for the functionality, simplicity and attention to detail, being perfect for winter.

Stockholm New Book - Founded in 1992 by Christina Sollenberg Britton and Claes Britton, the magazine only published 12 issues until 2002, being however one of the most emblematic publications ever. Known for presenting a "global vision of contemporary and historic swedish creative culture", Stockholm New is since this summer available in book, presenting the best scandivanian art, style and design, like this production (pictured) with pieces by the iconic Josef Frank.

Dansk Møbelkunst Gallery - Specialized in rare, original works of Danish furniture that were created during 1920-70, DMK gallery is since a long time one of my main references in terms of design. Having launched a new site recently, where we can see pieces by Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen or Finn Juhl, DMK opened last October 25th a new exhibition in their parisian gallery: Made by Hand, "a selection of the best handcrafted furniture from the post-war period chosen because of the exquisite workmanship that they display".
