Jean Prouvé at Pinacoteca Agnelli

I already liked the work of Jean Prouvé for a long time, but when i visited Maison Tropicale in 2008, installed in front of Tate Modern in London, i was struck by the techical beauty, industrial details and aesthetic subtlety of the iconic designer creations. The exhibition 'A Passion for Jean Prouvé', recently open at Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli presents the impressive private collection of gallerists Laurence and Patrick Seguin. The forty pieces shown include all aspects of Jean Prouvé's work, from rare furniture prototypes to Maison Metropole, designed in 1949 for french Ministry of Education. The exhbition can seen until the 8th of September at the Turin based foundation.
